Steve Scott aka Scotty recently launched a new podcast entitled Late Night Cocoa. It’s targeted at experienced developers who want to make the jump into Cocoa development.
I’ve just finished digesting the second episode on Core Data in which Scotty interviews Marcus Zarra of Zarra Studios. The interview covers what Core Data is, how it can be used and some of the pit falls developers should be aware of.
Despite not having the ability to demonstrate the ideas behind Core Data through the podcast medium (no screen shots or code available) the interview dynamics work wonderfully. I understand the concept of Core Data and will be all to happy to play with it once my basic Cocoa skills are up to scratch.
The first episode, in case you were wondering, is more of an introduction to Cocoa and and Late Night Cocoa podcast itself. It doesn’t cover any specific element of Cocoa as such but does contain an interview with Chris Forsythe who is the project manager for Adium among other things.
Keeping up to date with Late Night Cocoa is as simple as clicking here to add it to your iTunes library. If Scotty can continue to work the same magic on future episodes, then I’ll be a very happy listener.
